Liebe WU-Studierende,

nachdem die Übersiedelung auf den neuen Campus WU nun hinter uns liegt, möchte ich Sie im Namen des gesamten Rektorats recht herzlich zur offiziellen Eröffnung des Campus WU am 4. Oktober 2013 einladen.

Die Eröffnungsfeier im Beisein von Bundespräsident Dr. Heinz Fischer um 11.00 Uhr können Sie via Live-Streaming unter wu.ac.at/wutv<http://www.wu.ac.at/wutv> mitverfolgen.

Beim Open Campus am Nachmittag des 4. Oktober erwartet Sie dann ab 14.00 Uhr ein buntes Programm an Gebäudeführungen, Filmvorführungen zu den einzelnen Bauwerken sowie ein Unterhaltungs- und Kulinarikangebot. Zahlreiche Serviceeinrichtungen öffnen ihre Türen: im Study Service Center können Sie Ihr Wissen über die WU und das Studium testen und dabei attraktive Preise gewinnen, das Zentrum für Auslandsstudien informiert über das internationale Angebot uvm...

Auf der Bühne vor dem LC werden künstlerische und musikalische Einlagen geboten, den Abschluss bildet ab 19.00 Uhr eine Light Show.

Dear colleagues,

Now that we've successfully moved to Campus WU, we would like to cordially invite you to the official Campus WU Opening Event on October 4, 2013.

A live video stream from the opening ceremony, which will be attended by Dr. Heinz Fischer, Federal President of the Republic of Austria, will be broadcast on wu.ac.at/wutv starting at 11:00am.

The Open Campus Day will start at 2:00pm with a varied program of activities, including guided tours, viewings of videos about the individual buildings, lots of entertainment, and culinary treats. Numerous service units will be hosting Open House events: For example, in the Study Service Center you can take a quiz about WU and its academic programs and win attractive prizes, and the International Office will be presenting WU's international programs.

Various artists and musicians are scheduled to perform on the stage in front of the LC throughout the day, finishing off with a light show starting at 7:00pm.

We're looking forward to welcoming you to the Campus WU Opening Event.
