Dear all,
I am looking for several students who are interested in exploring a new idea in the food sector further:
- Food trucks have become a quite popular alternative to conventional restaurants or canteens for employees to satisfy their food needs. What is already quite common in North America or Germany, may also have potential in Austria
- Two bachelor theses:
1. How to identify attractive locations? What is quite well explored for brick-and-mortar stores, needs further consideration in such a "mobile" venture. Questions which need to be answered are: which factors make a location attractive? How to use this set of criteria for this concrete example? Etc.
2. How to reach potential customers? Next to finding attractive locations, it is important to generate new customers and to keep them. Which communication tools can be used for that purpose? What would a communication strategy look like?
How to? - analyze existing literature, investigate international show cases, develop recommendations
When? ASAP - meaningful results need to be delivered until December (the paper itself can be written later)
Topics can be tackled individually or in teams of 2 students. The scope will then be adjusted accordingly.
If you are interested, please send me an e-mail indicating your availability over the next weeks/months.
Best regards
Barbara Stöttinger
