Liebe Studierende,

viele von euch nutzen KI- und andere Tools für (Seminar- oder Abschluss-)Arbeiten, wenn sie von den Lehrenden/Betreuer*innen erlaubt sind. Nachfolgend findet ihr wichtige Hinweise, wie ihr deren Einsatz korrekt dokumentiert - für mehr Transparenz und um euch vor Vorwürfen bezüglich Verwendung unerlaubter Hilfsmittel zu schützen.

Worum geht es beim Hilfsmittelverzeichnis (HVZ)?
Im HVZ soll auf einem Blick erkennbar sein, welche Hilfsmittel wo, wie und in welchem Ausmaß verwendet wurden. Ein HVZ ergänzt somit das korrekte Zitieren im Rahmen einer studentischen Arbeit.

Für welche Arbeiten ist ein HVZ relevant?
Das HVZ ist für alle schriftlichen Arbeiten relevant (also zB für Seminar-, Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten sowie Dissertationen, bei Bedarf auch für Hausübungen/Präsentationen) und wird an die beurteilende Person übermittelt.

Many of you use AI and other tools for (seminar or final) assignments if they are permitted by your teachers/supervisors. Below you will find important information on how to document their use correctly - for more transparency and to protect you from accusations of using unauthorized tools.

What is the list of aids used about?
The aim of the list of aids used is to show at a glance which resources were used where, how and to what extent. A list of aids used thus complements the correct citation in a student's work.

For which papers/theses is a list of aids used relevant?
The list of aids used is relevant for all written work (e.g. for seminar papers, Bachelor's and Master's theses as well as dissertations, if necessary, also for homework/presentations) and is sent to the assessor/supervisor. A list of aids used supplements the correct citation in a paper/thesis.
