Liebe Studierende,

wir informieren euch heute über eine wesentliche Verbesserung für die Kontrollen der 2,5G-Nachweise an der WU. Wenn ihr vollständig geimpft oder genesen seid, könnt ihr euch ab 25. Oktober einen "Fast Lane Sticker<https://www.wu.ac.at/studierende/distanzlehre-und-online-pruefungen/coronavirus-news-und-infos-fuer-studierende#c599368>" für das Wintersemester 2021/22 holen. Mit diesem Sticker habt ihr alles, was ihr für die Kontrollen an der WU aktuell braucht, direkt auf eurem Studierendenausweis.
Eckdaten zum Fast Lane Sticker:

§  Ausgabe nur unter Vorlage eures Studierendenausweises sowie eines für das ganze Semester gültigen Nachweises einer geringen epidemiologischen Gefahr<https://www.wu.ac.at/studierende/distanzlehre-und-online-pruefungen/coronavirus-news-und-infos-fuer-studierende#c564888> (Impf- oder Genesungsnachweis mit Gültigkeit bis mind. 27. Februar 2022).

§  Der Sticker wird auf eurem WU Studierendenausweis angebracht und ist mit einem Wasserzeichen versehen. Er kann auf keinem anderen Ausweis angebracht werden und wird ungültig, sobald man ihn vom Studierendenausweis ablöst.

§  Der Impf- oder Genesungsnachweis wird bei der Ausgabe des Fast Lane Stickers einmalig überprüft und wird nicht gespeichert. Die Ausgabe des Stickers wird ebenfalls nirgends erfasst.

§  Die Ausgabe erfolgt ab 25. Oktober im Erdgeschoss des TC (Lernzone direkt links vom Eingang), Montag bis Freitag zwischen 9 und 15 Uhr.

§  Dieser Fast Lane Sticker gilt im Wintersemester 2021/22 (bis inkl. 27.02.2022) als Nachweis für das Betreten von sowie den Aufenthalt in den Gebäuden der WU sowie für die Teilnahme an Präsenz-Lehrveranstaltungen und -Prüfungen an der WU.

Studierende, die diesen Sticker nicht haben, müssen weiterhin einen anderen Nachweis bei den Kontrollen erbringen. Tipp für den WU Check-in: Da das WLAN-Netzwerk "wu" abgeschaltet wurde, richtet bitte das WLAN-Netzwerk "eduroam" auf euren Geräten ein. Anleitungen und Konfigurationsdaten findet ihr auf der folgenden Webseite<https://short.wu.ac.at/wlan>.

Dear students,

we are informing you today about a significant improvement for the 2.5G proof controls at WU. If you are fully immunized or recovered, you can get a "Fast Lane Sticker<https://www.wu.ac.at/en/students/distance-learning-and-online-exams/coronavirus-updates-for-students#c599372>" for the winter semester 2021/22 starting October 25. With this sticker, you will have everything you currently need for controls at WU right on your student ID card.
Facts and figures about the Fast Lane Sticker:

§  Only issued upon presentation of your student ID and proof of a low epidemiological risk<https://www.wu.ac.at/en/students/distance-learning-and-online-exams/coronavirus-updates-for-students#c564905> valid for the entire semester (vaccination or recovery certificate valid until at least February 27, 2022).

§  The sticker is placed on your WU student ID and is a watermarked security label. It cannot be applied to any other ID card and becomes invalid as soon as you remove it.

§  The vaccination or recovery proof is checked once when the Fast Lane Sticker is issued and is not stored. The sticker distribution is also not recorded anywhere.

§  The distribution takes place from October 25 on the first floor of the TC (learning zone directly to the left of the entrance), Monday to Friday between 9 am and 3 pm.

§  This Fast Lane Sticker is valid in the winter semester 2021/22 (until 27.02.2022) as a proof for entering and staying in the buildings of WU as well as for attending classes and exams at WU.

Advice for the WU Check-in: Since the Wi-Fi network "wu" has been switched off, please set up the Wi-Fi network "eduroam" on your devices. Instructions and configuration data can be found on the following website<https://www.wu.ac.at/en/it/services/network/wireless>.
