Liebe Studierende,

nach einem Jahr Analyse-, Entwicklungs- und Überarbeitungszeit ist es am 16.02. soweit: Die neue WU Website geht online.

Wir freuen uns über diesen Schritt zu einem modernen Auftritt und hoffen, dass die Seite nun auch für Sie leichter bedienbar ist und wichtige Inhalte schneller auffindbar sind. Um das zu gewährleisten, haben wir im Vorfeld Studierende mittels Fragebogen befragt, welche Kritikpunkte sie an der aktuellen Website haben und was sie sich für die neue Website wünschen würden. In der Konzeptionsphase haben wir außerdem einen Workshop mit einer Gruppe Studierender durchgeführt. Das Ergebnis: Sie wünschen sich schnellere Klickwege, weniger Text und alle wichtigen Infos und Tools an einem Ort. Die neue Website wird viele dieser Wünsche bereits beim Start erfüllen und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklungen werden folgen.

Seite für Studierende

Ganz neu ist eine Microsite für WU Studierende, auf der Sie alle allgemeinen Informationen für Ihre Studienorganisation sowie spezifische und aktuelle Infos zu Ihren Studienprogrammen finden.
Auch die Quicklinks wurden überarbeitet - dort haben Sie nun schnellen Zugriff zu den am häufigsten benutzten Online-Tools.

Dear students,
After one year of analyzing, developing and making adjustments, February 16 will be the day: The new WU Website will go online.
We are pleased to be taking this step towards a modern online presence, hoping that the website is now more accessible and that you will find it easier to retrieve information and important content. In order to ensure this, we conducted surveys among students prior to the relaunch. Thereby, we aimed at gaining a deeper insight into the central points of criticism regarding the current website. Furthermore, we were trying to find out about students' expectations regarding the new web page. Apart from the surveys, a workshop with a group of students was held in the conception phase. The findings revealed that minimal click paths, shorter texts and finding important information and all relevant tools in place were the most important aspects for students. The new website will meet most of these requirements right from the start and further improvements will continuously be made.
Microsite for students
The latest innovation is a microsite for WU students, which will be providing general information regarding the organization of studies as well as specific and up-to date information on the respective study programs.
Moreover, the most frequently used quicklinks have been revised giving swift access to the most popular online-tools.
