Yes, we care! Care work in academia: Art meets research
Looking after a child. Caring for a sick relative. What does it mean to have caring responsibilities while studying or working at a university? A unique research and art-based initiative focuses on the challenges and stories of higher education staff, faculty and students with caring responsibilities. Using comics and drawings, the vernissage highlights the obstacles faced by carers in the academic world. Meet the artist and the researcher behind the initiative and engage in discussions about necessary changes in academic culture.
