[Slawabs] CENTROPE Entrepreneurial Case Race 2009

Dear students,

For the third time in a row the Entrepreneurship Center Vienna is 
hosting the international business case competition for students 
*"CENTROPE Entrepreneurial Case Race". *

**Students of all disciplines with good knowledge of English from 
*Austrian, Czech, and Slovak universities* get the unique opportunity to 
demonstrate their diverse skills in an international and 
interdisciplinary setting. In small teams it will be your task to 
develop a viable solution for complex, entrepreneurial case study that 
demands technical thinking as well as business logic. This year you will 
be challenged with an especially interesting case related to the 
automotive industry.  **

The *CENTROPE Entrepreneurial Case Race 2009* takes place in two rounds: 
First, a one-day preselecting event in your home country, in which you 
will work in teams chosen from students of different universities. Here, 
you have the chance to analyse a specific innovation case study and 
present a solution to an expert jury. The event takes place at the 
Capgemini offices in *Bratislava, Prague* or *Vienna*.

After the pre-selection, the winner teams are invited to a one-day final 
event in the center of Vienna. The best students from Czech 
Republic, Slovakia and Austria will have the opportunity to work 
together in international and interdisciplinary teams and to compete for 
the most innovative and entrepreneurial case solutions. Their findings 
will be presented to a jury of experts which will also select the lucky 
winners. Like in the real world, time is scarce and pressure is high - 
but also the rewards!

Apart for fame and fortune, the winning teams will be rewarded with 
*ASUS Eee PCs,* *Professional Development Trainings* -- organized by 
Bosch Training Centre Austria, as well as "*The Economist" magazine 
subscriptions*.
