Job vacancy  HORIZONT3000, the lead agency of the
TRIALOG project, is looking for a 

Project Manager (full time, based in the TRIALOG
Vienna office)  
Start: as soon as possible

Tasks and responsibilities: 

Project Management: 
. Supervision and co-ordination of project's
activities   
. Planning of project activities (strategic and
operational) 
. To propose the annual work plan for implementation 
. Preparation of financial and narrative reports to
the EU and other donors 
. Planning, preparation and follow-up of meetings of
the management and the advisory group, report
regularly on the progress achieved 

Personnel Management: 
. Team leading . Planning, preparation and follow up
of regular team meetings Representation and
Coordination: 
. Facilitation of communication between the several
players and stakeholders of this operation 
. Facilitation of meetings 
. To represent the project in different foras and
conferences 
. Relations with the European Institutions and other
partners/donors of the project 
. Coordination with CONCORD  

Requirements: 
. Several years of experience in development
cooperation/development education 
. Professional experience in NGDOs or NGDO networks in
a managing role 
. Experience in a management position including team
leading for at least 2 years 
. Good organisational and project management skills. 
. Self-motivation, initiative and ability to organize
and work effectively in/with a team; 
. prepared to deal with financial issues 
. Familiarity with the EU enlargement process and with
the situation in new member states (NMS) and accession
countries (AC) (focus on NGOs) as well as
understanding of the capacity building needs of civil
society organisations in NMS/AC working in development
cooperation/development education 
. Knowledge of the structure and functioning of
European Institutions as well as of EU development
cooperation policies and practices; 
. Strategic and analytical thinking, systematic
approach . High social competence, responsibility,
intercultural sensibility 
. Strong interpersonal and communication skills,  
. Fluency in English, good German, any new member
state/accession country language an asset 
. Writing skills and rhetoric skills 
. Ready to travel 
. Computer skills
