Dear Colleagues,



As the guest editor for a special edition of Sustainable Cities and Society
<http://www.journals.elsevier.com/sustainable-cities-and-society/> I invite
you, your colleagues and students to submit a manuscript that addresses the
topic of “Creating Transportation Systems for Sustainable Cities”.
Contributions from any field that approach sustainable transportation or
the role of transportation in a more sustainable city from a unique or
unconventional perspective are highly encouraged. A full description of
the  call is provided in the link below.



*Special Issue Submission and Publication Details:*



-          Submission of full articles are due by *July 15, 2016* for
consideration in this special edition.

-          All papers will go through the standard peer review process.

-          Each accepted paper *will be published as soon as possible* in a
regular edition of Sustainable Communities and Society and identified as
belonging to this special edition. This will greatly increase the speed of
publishing your paper as part of this special edition.

-          As papers are published in regular editions they will also be
collected in a virtual online special edition available through the
Journal’s  website and  the Journal’s Elsevier Science Direct website. A
list of special editions will proceed the listing of the latest regular
editions on Science Direct.
