Dear all, 
  
  Prof. Kevin Anderson, Deputy Director of the renowned Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research (UK), will talk about the need for radical climate mitigation. His work on carbon budgets has been pivotal in revealing the widening gulf between political rhetoric on climate change and the reality of rapidly escalating emissions. Moreover, Kevin Anderson’s research demonstrates how avoiding even a 3 to 4°C rise demands a radical reframing of both the climate change agenda and the economic characterisation of contemporary society.
  

  The talk will be followed by a panel discussion. In the panel: Ulrich Brand, Magdalena Heuwieser, Manfred Kohlbach and Clive Spash.
