[Bakk-imm] Bachelor Thesis topic with Canadian Embassy

Dear students,

the Institute for International Marketing Management is looking for 2-3 students who want to write their bachelor thesis in close cooperation with the Embassy of Canada on a really interesting project.

The idea is to provide a roadmap/directory of Austrian and Multinational Companies operating in South and East Europe (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria) out of Vienna.
Questions that need to be answered are, for example: How many are there and how do they look like (Industry, Sales Volume, company structure etc.)? Where do they get their contracts/orders from (out of Vienna or locally)? How frequent are partnerships with local companies? Where are decisions made?

The thesis will mainly consist of secondary research but some interviews might be necessary to learn more about internal structures.

It is absolutely necessary that you are able to work full-time on this project until end of march (thats when the embassy needs the first findings - further details and final thesis can be handed in a bit later).

After the thesis is finished, the embassy would also offer the opportunity for one students to work further on this project within a paid internship. So you have the unique opportunity to see how your research and results will be used in real life!!!

If you are available within the next two months and are interested in the topic, please send me a short statement of your motivation together with your CV until Sunday, February 2nd.
