Systematic knowledge transfer in Innovation Management

Under the leadership of A.T. Kearney an international consortium developed “IMP³rove”, the European Commission’s initiative for better Innovation Management support for small and medium sized enterprises. IMP³rove today is the European approach to Innovation Management benchmarking, training and certification in Innovation Management consulting and in developing IMP³rove powered innovation eco-systems to develop innovation capabilities and competitiveness in Europe and beyond.

Based on the largest and most up-to-date benchmarking database on Innovation Management in SMEs, IMP³rove provides an indication of a company’s competitiveness and sustainable growth from innovation and compares it with those of Growth Champions and with the average, either in their domestic or an international market.

IMP³rove enables to understand to what extent a company’s Innovation Management capabilities contribute to the competitiveness of that company. Based on A.T. Kearny’s House of Innovation, IMP³rove thoroughly analyses all core aspects regarding innovation: from innovation strategy, to innovation culture and organization, enabling factors and finally innovation results.

Almost 3500 small and medium sized companies all across Europe and beyond have already benefited from the IMP³rove Assessment. Most currently, IMP³rove has been launched in North Africa and Middle East.

In the next Strategy Lounge, we will provide insights on our Innovation Management approach, the IMP³rove Assessment Tool and how this is disseminated to the North African countries. Personal experience with focus on Morocco and Tunisia will be shared.
