Over the last years the automotive industry was continuously faced with increasing pressure from NGOs, EU policies and global initiatives to make cars more efficient and environmental friendly. However, environmental issues are only one part of the important overall topic “SUSTAINABILITY”. Companies in all industries have developed so-called corporate sustainability strategies, considering not only environmental, but also economic and social aspects in order to achieve excellence in sustainability.

But where does the responsibility to ensure a sustainable business end? Is it sufficient to define and manage environmental, economic and social aspects only within the four walls of your company? No?
