Collabriv is recruiting its first team of young professionals, ages 21-26, from around the world for a six-month internship and training program in the San Francisco Bay Area, starting February 25, 2013.  Collabriv, a social venture based in San Francisco, enables participants to acquire the critical skill of the 21st century-global collaboration-by offering:

*a team-based internship with a local organization
*leadership training resulting in a certificate from a regionally accredited U.S. university
*mentoring from experienced professionals
*deep community immersion through homestays and access to Hub San Francisco, and
*a lifelong global network

Collabriv seeks applicants whose studies and/or work have included one or more of the following:   marketing, business development, communications/public relations, social media, and project management.  Because the organizations hosting Collabriv interns focus on the fields of health and clean energy/environment, applicants who are working or intend to work in these fields are particularly encouraged.

Scholarships are available to participants based both on personal need and on the level of support from a sponsoring organization, i.e., a company or NGO where the applicant works or a university where the applicant studies.  The exact amount will be determined after an applicant has been accepted.  We encourage potential applicants to apply regardless of ability to pay the full program cost.  We have limited scholarship funds which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so we also encourage applicants to apply as soon as possible.
