dazu verleiten, die Regeln eines fairen und respektvollen Miteinanders in Vergessenheit geraten zu lassen. Dies hat die WU zum Anlass genommen den

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:9.0pt;line-height:105%;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">Zu Beginn des neuen Studienjahres möchte ich „WE@WU“ in den Fokus rücken. Der Code of Conduct beinhaltet Regeln für das Miteinander an der WU, die für alle
Angehörigen der WU Community bindend sind. Unsere Grundregel lautet „Respekt für andere und deren Meinung“. Respekt und Wertschätzung sind Voraussetzung für die Diskussionen und Reflexionen über vielfältige Themen, welche die Zeit des Studierens prägen. Daher
wünsche und erwarte ich mir, dass der Code of Conduct von uns allen gelebt wird.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:9.0pt;line-height:105%;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">Ab 27. September wird euch beim Login auf Learn eine Kurzfassung des Code of Conduct angezeigt. Mit der verpflichtenden Bestätigung erklärt ihr, dass ihr die
Regeln gelesen habt und als Basis für unser Miteinander an der WU respektiert. Zusätzlich gibt es zwei Fragen zu Themen des Code of Conduct zu beantworten, die der persönlichen Reflexion dienen - es erfolgt keinerlei Speicherung bzw. Auswertung der Antworten.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:9.0pt;line-height:105%;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">Over the last three semesters, we were forced to move most of our interactions online. One thing we learned is that in online formats, people are
tempted to forget the rules of fair and respectful interaction. WU has taken this as an opportunity to amend the
<a href="https://www.wu.ac.at/studierende/campus/code-of-conduct">Code of Conduct for Students</a> (WE@WU).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:9.0pt;line-height:105%;font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">At the beginning of this new academic year, I would like to call your attention to “WE@WU.” The Code of Conduct lays out rules for interacting
with each other at WU. These rules are binding for all members of the WU community. Our basic tenet: respect for others and their opinions. Respect and appreciation are prerequisites for the discussions and reflections on a wide variety of topics that characterize
our time as students. For this reason, I expect everyone at WU to comply with the Code of Conduct.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
