<p>The <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://lcsr.hse.ru/en/">Laboratory for Comparative
Social Research</a> (LCSR) at the Higher School of
Economics announces the next two calls for researchers.
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:</p>
<p>Social Well-Being and Happiness<br>
Values, Trust and Attitudes<br>
Nationalism, Ethnicity and Migration<br>
Gender, Work and Life Satisfaction<br>
Religiosity and Tolerance</p>
<h3> Call for LCSR Associate Researcher</h3>
<p>The main idea is to attract young scholars to work on their
own projects under the guidance of the LCSR experts (<a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://lcsr.hse.ru/en/inglehart">Ronald Inglehart</a>,
<a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://lcsr.hse.ru/en/Ponarin">Eduard Ponarin</a>, <a
moz-do-not-send="true" href="http://lcsr.hse.ru/en/welzel">Christian
Welzel</a>). The successful candidates will be invited to
present their research proposal at theFourth International
LCSR Conference. Travel costs will be covered by LCSR. The
deadline for application is <strong>August 15, 2014</strong>.</p>

<h3> Call for LCSR Associate Senior Researcher</h3>
<p>The LCSR aims at developing skills on empirical
quantitative comparative (cross-country and cross-regional)
studies in social science of young researchers in Russian
and CIS countries, so we are inviting and highly supporting
initiatives from senior researchers to implement their
projects together with young colleagues from LCSR network.</p>
<p>LCSR will cover the travel costs and provide accommodation
for the senior researcher and one young research group
member to present results at LCSR events (April workshop,
summer school, November conference) and provide with one
travel grant to present the project results at a conference
(all over the world).</p>
<p>The deadline for application is <strong>August 15, 2014</strong>.</p>
